About this Recognised Training Programme

This entitles individuals to gain certification for completion of a programme of learning separate to the FireQual regulated qualification offering.

The course syllabus covers:

The aim of fire stopping
Approved Document B (Section 9)
Health and Safety
Fire compartments and separating elements
Fire stopping products
Certification, best practice and regulations
Engineering judgements
Golden thread of evidence/record keeping

This course has both a theory and a practical fire stopping installation test.

What is a FireQual Recognised Training Programme?

Recognised Training Programmes exist where there is a requirement or it is seen as best practice to undertake a programme of learning to carry out a role but where there is no requirement or the subject is not appropriate for a regulated qualification or where there is no regulated qualification offering currently provided by FireQual.

It is important to stress that FireQual Recognised Training Programmes are not the same as our Regulated Qualifications.
Recognised Training Programmes are acknowledged by FireQual as appropriate training available on the market.
