Can I request a replacement Certificate?

Yes, you can request via your Approved Training Centre contact, a replacement certificate if you have achieved a FireQual qualification. Certificates, either paper or electronic, are initially provided through your Approved Training Centre (ATC). To request a replacement, email FireQual with detailed information, including your name, date of birth, unique learner number, certificate number, and the qualification achieved. Note that there is usually a charge for replacement certificates.

FireQual's Certification policy does not allow for reissuing certificates in the following situations:

  • Name changes due to marriage or not involving a deed poll.
  • Name changes by deed poll after the certificate has been issued.
  • Adding post-nominal letters (e.g., OBE, MBE, BA (Hons)).
  • Requests for reissue with the full name when the original was issued with an initial or abbreviated name.

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis if there is a risk of discrimination under Equality Law.
