Qualification development is an involved process – first a business case must be established to determine the need for a qualification, if that is agreed, then a number of development meetings is held with stakeholders to design the framework, including learning outcomes, unit structure, assessment criteria etc,  then SMEs will begin to put the detail of the qualification content together. Once this is complete, it will go out to stakeholders for review and comment. After this has been completed, FireQual will submit the qualification to the regulator for approval.
