What level is this qualification and who is the regulator?
The FireQual Award in Fire Risk Assessment in Low-Risk Premises has been accredited by Ofqual at RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) Level 2.
This qualification is also available at SCQF/SQA Level 5 (equivalent to RQF/Ofqual Level 2)
Please note that the only major difference between the qualifications available is the regulator. Both qualifications available are recognised across the UK.

How do I achieve this qualification?
Please contact a FireQual Approved Training Centre that provides this qualification. They will be able to advise all details required to achieve this qualification (including the cost and length of training).

Progression Routes
Once achieved, this qualification may be used as evidence of suitable knowledge when undergoing audit for relevant Third-Party Certification (e.g. BAFE SP205 for low-risk work).
Candidates who complete this qualification could progress to other higher-level Fire Risk Assessment qualifications provided by FireQual to further develop their knowledge of the subject of Fire Risk Assessment.
