Practical Fire Stopping Course - PAL Centre of Excellence

PAL Centre of Excellence has been approved to provide the Practical Fire Stopping course as a FireQual Recognised Programme.

This entitles individuals to gain certification for completion of a programme of learning separate to the FireQual regulated qualification offering.

The course syllabus covers:

• The aim of fire stopping
• Approved Document B (Section 9)
• Health and Safety
• Fire compartments and separating elements
• Fire stopping products
• Certification, best practice and regulations
• Engineering judgements
• Golden thread of evidence/record keeping

This course has both a thoery and a practical fire stopping installation test.
