Running a successful Approved Training Centre
Access all the information, guidance and resources you need to deliver our qualifications and support the next generation of fire safety professionals.
Addition of New Qualifications
Approved Training Centres wishing to expand their qualification offering should contact FireQual to arrange a pre-application meeting before completing the relevant application form and submitting it to info@firequal.com.
Registering your candidates
All candidates must be registered with FireQual through the FireQual Centre Portal before assessment takes place. This allows us to manage certification, maintain quality assurance, and record learner achievements.
Booking e-Assessments
e-Assessments can be booked through the FireQual Centre Portal up to 24 hours before the scheduled assessment. Candidate login details can also be accessed through the portal.
Getting e-Assessments right
Invigilators play an important role in maintaining the integrity of FireQual e-assessments. Training materials are available to support invigilator development and ensure assessments are conducted consistently.
Invigilators should complete an e-Assessment Register for each assessment session and be prepared to submit it to FireQual on request.
The e-Assessment poster should be displayed prominently in the assessment room.
Feedback on e-Assessments
Candidates will receive confirmation of the mark required to pass and the mark achieved, however, feedback on individual assessment questions is not provided. If a candidate wishes to appeal their result, they may request a results administration check or a review of marking.
Results and Certificates
For multiple-choice e-Assessments, candidates receive an indicative result immediately after completing the assessment. Results are confirmed in the FireQual Centre Portal, indicating pass/fail status and percentage achieved.
Once all qualification components are complete, a certificate claim can be submitted through the FireQual Centre Portal. Certificates are normally issued within six weeks of claim approval.
If a certificate is claimed incorrectly, it must be returned to FireQual with an explanation. Replacement certificates will incur a fee.
For expired qualifications, certification claims submitted after the final certification end date will require authorisation from the relevant regulator, and FireQual cannot guarantee processing.
